Welcome to Parenting Nurse Facilitator

Melissa is a registered nurse with over 17 years experience working with expectant parents, new parents and young families.  She has worked in hospital, primary care and public health settings.  


Her most rewarding work has been as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and being able to support families with infant feeding.


Her role at the Phoenix Centre for Children and Families is as a Facilitator of the Welcome to Parenting program.  She also provides assistance in updating content in this program.
